We are seeking our first Director of Brand & Creative to shape BNTO’s brand identity and lead creative across all customer touchpoints. This role is ideal for a seasoned creative leader with fashion/consumer experience, cultural awareness, and the ability to build breakthrough brands. As an early senior hire, you will set how BNTO shows up in the world. Your Duties & Responsibilities
Brand & Creative Leadership: Define, evolve, and steward BNTO’s brand identity, positioning, and voice; build a brand that resonates with a new generation of consumers who see fashion as access, discovery, expression, and culture. Lead brand strategy, including positioning, differentiation, and ensuring creative expression is grounded in insights. Identify core customer segments and translate insights into strategy, storytelling, and creative decisions. Develop brand narrative and messaging frameworks for consistency across channels. Translate BNTO’s vision into cohesive strategies across marketing, product, and customer experience; ensure the creative remains true to BNTO’s fashion-tech DNA. Build a distinctive brand world across imagery, styling, copy, and tone; respond to cultural moments with agility. Own the marketing calendar and lead creative execution across campaigns, social, content, community, and digital/IRL experiences. Conceive and direct brand moments, collaborations, and activations beyond products to influence culture. Cross-Functional Partnership
Collaborate with Digital Product and Customer Experience to ensure consistent storytelling across channels. Partner with Merchandising and Ecommerce to integrate product flow and new arrivals with brand storytelling and cultural moments. Monitor and interpret key marketing and engagement metrics to inform brand positioning and creative decisions. Lead and grow a small team across brand, social, influencer, and community. Collaborate across merch, growth, product, and operations to deliver a seamless brand experience. Balance strategic vision with hands-on execution in a fast-moving, multi-brand environment. Your Experience and Skills
8+ years in brand, creative, or marketing roles, with 3+ years in senior leadership or director capacity. Proven track record leading brand/creative direction for high-growth fashion or lifestyle consumer brands. Strong portfolio showing brand campaigns, fashion/editorial work, and multi-channel strategy. Fluent in modern tools and AI-enabled approaches to elevate brand storytelling and consumer experience. Deep understanding of culture, social platforms, and digital-first storytelling, especially for Gen Z and Millennial women. Ability to tailor creative to platform culture (TikTok, Instagram, and evolving channels). Experience managing designers, art directors, copywriters, and external partners. Excellent communication skills; ability to inspire teams, align stakeholders, and collaborate across diverse groups and time zones. Comfort with giving and receiving feedback as part of the creative process. Thrives in a fast-paced startup environment; hands-on and execution-driven with strategic vision.
