Lumicity is currently paired with a leading specialty contractor seeking a
Project Manager/Estimator
to join their Oakland-based drywall team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-mid career professional with 3–10 years of experience in commercial construction who is looking to grow within a reputable and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in drywall and interior scopes, a detail-oriented mindset, and the ability to support projects from preconstruction through final closeout. Key Responsibilities
Assist in the management of commercial drywall projects, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and safety standards Coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors, and clients to address scope, sequencing, and material issues Prepare and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and work order pricing Support the estimating and procurement process, including vendor coordination and subcontractor buyouts Conduct site visits to support field teams and ensure project quality and safety compliance Skills and Qualifications
3–10 years of experience in commercial construction; experience with drywall, framing, or interior scopes is preferred Bachelor\'s degree in construction management or a related field preferred; equivalent industry experience will be considered Familiarity with estimating and project management tools such as QuickBid, OST, Bluebeam, or PlanGrid Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word) Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Application
