Job Description

As a fast-growing fintech company, we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Vice President of Sales to lead our sales organization and drive revenue growth. This is a high-impact, strategic leadership role reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) and will play a critical part in scaling our business.

What You’ll Do

Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute a scalable, repeatable sales strategy aligned with PayNearMe’s growth objectives; identify new market opportunities and expansion strategies; establish a predictable, data-driven sales process; drive adoption of structured sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, Challenger). Leadership & Team Development: Recruit, develop, and mentor a high-performing sales team; implement best practices in coaching, performance management, and career development; set clear goals, KPIs, and incentive structures. Revenue Growth & Market Expansion: Own and optimize the sales pipeline, forecasting, and revenue targets; expand presence in key verticals and build strategic partnerships; collaborate cross-functionally to enhance demand generation, product positioning, and client retention. Customer & Partner Engagement: Build executive-level relationships with key customers and partners; ensure a seamless sales-to-customer experience with Client Success; stay ahead of industry trends and competitive dynamics.

Qualifications

10+ years of sales leadership experience, preferably in fintech, SaaS, or payments. Proven ability to scale and lead high-performing sales teams and drive significant revenue growth. Experience developing and executing successful GTM strategies and sales playbooks. Strong knowledge of enterprise sales cycles, pipeline management, and forecasting. Expertise in sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, Challenger) and process optimization. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze key metrics and drive strategic decisions. Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with adaptability; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).

Location & Travel

Remote (U.S.-based) with up to 40% travel for client meetings, industry events, and team engagements.

Benefits

Base salary at $250,000 – $300,000 with potential for additional compensation. Stock options with standard startup vesting (1 year cliff; 4 years total). Salary Range

$250,000 – $300,000 base salary
