Overview
The Senior Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst is responsible for leading monthly and quarterly forecast analytics, reporting and decision support to the Principal Director of FP&A and finance leadership with limited supervision. This role coordinates the company’s planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting and long-range strategic planning, and serves as a key resource for monthly financial, operating, and ad hoc analyses. Strong attention to detail, business acumen and knowledge of financial analysis techniques are required. Primary Responsibilities
Perform in-depth analysis of the company’s operational performance metrics on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis Build models to facilitate data compilation, analysis and decision-making Perform expense trend analysis to identify opportunities and accurately forecast revenues, compensation and expenses Lead efforts to create department-level budget tools to facilitate data compilation for bottoms-up budgeting and ensure linkage to top-down planning Assist with developing and coordinating headcount for planning purposes Coordinate the monthly internal management reporting package, continuously improving its contents and quality of information Perform run-rate revenue and net flows analysis by client to identify trends, issues and opportunities Develop and deliver monthly financial materials for Board of Directors communications Provide decision support to the CFO on various projects Adapt to dynamic business needs as required Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications
3-7 years of relevant experience Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting; CPA and/or MBA preferred Strong research, communication and presentation skills Strong analytic modeling skills Strong knowledge of math and economics Expert knowledge of MS Excel, Power BI, Workday Adaptive Planning and PowerPoint Financial planning experience is a plus Ability to work independently and balance multiple projects/priorities Strong work ethic Compensation
