Overview
Assistant Project Manager - Mission Critical at Skender. Base pay range: $90,000.00/yr - $108,000.00/yr. Annual salary may include a discretionary bonus up to 8% of base salary, based on individual performance and company results. Responsibilities
Examine contract documents for submittal requirements, checking for scope gaps and overlaps. Must be presented in a timely manner as directed by the Project Manager. Review shop drawings for compliance with contract documents, accuracy, and coordination of interfacing materials. Prepare, maintain, and distribute document control entities (submittals, RFIs, drawings/specifications, meeting minutes, punchlists/closeout, issue logs). Meeting minutes must be sent within 48 hours after the meeting. Perform constraint analysis and related actions (labor, RFIs, submittals, procurement contracts, materials, weather). Update and maintain the project master schedule. Produce subcontract change orders in detail for changes to subcontracts due to owner requests or plan/spec changes; submit promptly to the Project Manager. Participate in scope reviews during purchasing to ensure no gaps or overlaps and to eliminate non-reimbursed change orders. Monitor safety procedures onsite and know when to notify SPQ and the Superintendent. Education and Experience
4 year degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years’ experience with data center construction projects. Skills
Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders Advanced organizational and documentation capabilities Working knowledge of bidding and budgeting processes based on contract documents Intermediate knowledge of profit components and billing standards Experience using Procore for scheduling and project management, and Sage for estimating Knowledge of building construction components and systems for conceptual budgets Exposure to quantity take-offs, subcontractor bid qualification, scheduling, general conditions, and project constraints or coordination issues Benefits
