Overview

The Vice President (VP) of Operations leads high quality, patient-centered, cost-effective care by acquiring resources and coordinating teams to execute projects aligned with the facility’s strategic plan. As a senior member of the facility management team, the VP of Operations participates in institutional planning, policy development, priority setting, and management decisions, with full operational responsibilities for departments assigned by the supervising executive. What you do for this role

Collaborate with the Administrative Team and physicians to respond to division and group requests for market/facility information. Enhance existing processes and services and develop new processes and services, including business and financial justification where appropriate. Provide administrative and operational leadership for assigned departments. Apply Customer Service principles to meet and exceed the expectations of internal and external customers. Manage operations of assigned departments to achieve targets for designated Key Performance Indicators. Oversee fiscal operation of assigned departments through ongoing revenue and expense analysis and adjust as needed. Develop and update department goals in line with the facility’s strategic business plan, mission, and vision. Meet leadership obligations under the Ethics and Compliance Program. Build strong relationships with physicians, employees, and peers. Utilize HCA tools (PLUS, CERs, CAMS Projects, Lawson, etc.) to support management of responsibilities. Stay informed of current Joint Commission, state, and federal guidelines, regulations and standards. Promote a consistent, positive patient experience and engage in service recovery when necessary. Develop and implement strategies to elevate the patient experience. Perform other duties as assigned and adhere to the Code of Conduct and Mission and Value Statement. Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Business Administration or Healthcare Administration required 2+ years of experience in a hospital leadership role preferred Benefits
