$1,000 Tiered Retention Bonus. 1st Month Department Bonus Guarantee. Pay rate:
$20.50 per hour
plus bonus potential of up to
$5,069.49
or more monthly based on performance. The exact starting compensation will be offered at hire and depends on factors such as location, skill set, experience, education, credentials, and licensure when applicable. Brief Description
90-day collectors will oversee handling accounts that have fallen overdue by more than three payments. They will contact customers via phone and skip trace to locate customers that are difficult to reach. The agent will have a monthly goal and will use skip trace techniques and negotiation skills to cure accounts. They will also locate collateral and work closely with a repossession agent. Duties, Tasks, Responsibilities
Collect accounts that are past due three or more payments. Reduce delinquency in the assigned queue. Call customers that are past due three payments. Skip trace to locate delinquent customers and collateral. Make arrangements and negotiate with delinquent accounts to bring current. Handle high-volume calls in a fast-paced environment. Work with repossession agent to secure collateral. Knowledge, Skills, Licenses
Skiptrace knowledge Excellent communication and negotiation skills Flexible schedule including overtime and weekends Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Extensive knowledge of state and federal laws applicable to collections, including the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act Good computer and typing skills Team player; good negotiation skills and telephone etiquette General knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook Web navigation and/or web-based applications Education
High School diploma or equivalent required Experience
3+ years of Backend subprime collections Auto Collections experience preferred Full Time Benefits
