Position Summary:
The Med Surg RN provides comprehensive nursing care for patients requiring medical and surgical services. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care while collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes.
Unit Details:
Unit Size: 20–34 beds (depending on unit)
Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: Typically 1:6
EMR: Meditech Expanse (preferred)
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of current Med Surg experience (Required)
Telemetry experience (Required)
Willingness to float between units (Required)
Basic Dysrhythmia course completion (Strongly required)
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (Required)
Meditech Expanse experience (Strongly preferred)
