Principal Accountabilities

Operate mobile equipment such as forklifts and stretch wrap machines

Supply materials as necessary to own area as well as other areas

Unloading, loading, and stacking materials onto or off trucks, pallets, skids, or lifting devices, and controlling inventory to meet both internal and external customer needs

Follow written or oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved.

Make simple adjustments or repairs, maintenance, and lubrication of trucks.

Open communication with peers and management to promote a teamwork-focused environment as well as developing

Capable of all platform labor duties

Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations

Maintaining a safe and clean work environment

Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer

Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility

Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)

Basic use of a computer

Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)

Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without a reasonable accommodation

Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays with advance notice

Preferred Qualifications

Basic experience troubleshooting various mechanical components and systems

Experience working in a production-related work

High school diploma/GED equivalent

Experience operating forklifts and/or similar equipment
