As a CRNA in the Inpatient Anesthesia Department, you will provide anesthesia services during inpatient procedures. You will work with the medical team to ensure peri-operative and anesthesia care while considering co-morbidities and age-related guidelines. You will contribute to patient safety, quality improvement, infection prevention, and accurate documentation. You may precept Student Nurse Anesthetists and mentor learners. You will maintain scheduling flexibility and professionalism, support cost containment, and perform other related duties as assigned. The clinician functions under regulatory guidelines from applicable licensing bodies and departmental credentialing. Responsibilities
Provide anesthesia care for inpatient procedures and collaborate with the medical team to determine appropriate patient care plans. Precept and mentor Student Nurse Anesthetists where applicable. Uphold patient safety, drive quality improvement, and promote infection prevention. Document and maintain patient records in compliance with hospital standards; protect patient confidentiality. Maintain scheduling flexibility, readiness, and punctuality to deliver timely care. Demonstrate professionalism through teamwork and ongoing professional development. Contribute to cost containment by conserving resources. Perform other related duties as assigned. CRNA Requirements
Graduation from an Accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program; Master’s Degree or higher required. Registered Nurse licensure from the North Carolina Board of Nursing; current certification to practice as a Nurse Anesthetist by the National Board. Current CPR Certification; ACLS/BLS as applicable. Clinical competency within the scope of privileges. Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with diverse clinical teams. What We Offer
Pay Range: $97.75 – $156.40 per hour. Benefits Eligible; 40 hours per week. Flexible shift options (11–, 12-, 13-hour shifts, hybrid shifts, weekend options). CME reimbursement and additional PTO for continuing education. Generous PTO accrual and parental leave benefits. Employer-paid retirement contributions (up to 6%).
