32-bed Progressive Care Unit, Level 3 Trauma Center
Employment Type:
Travel Registered Nurse
Assignment Length:
13 weeks (8/25/2025 – 11/22/2025)
Shift:
12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 36 hours/week
Guaranteed Hours:
36 per week
Estimated Weekly Salary Range:
$1570–$1680
Weekend Rotation:
Every other weekend
Holiday Coverage:
75% of holidays during contract

Free Parking Registered Nurse Qualifications
Active RN license (Registered Nurse)
Minimum 18 months of recent Progressive Care Unit RN experience
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Proficiency in tracheostomies, cardiac drips, cardiac rhythm interpretation, chest tubes, blood products, wound care, and central line management
Ability to float within the region and scope of practice
EPIC EMR experience preferred
PCU Nurse Responsibilities
Provide high-quality patient care for individuals with CHF, dysrhythmias, chest pain, stroke, abdominal illnesses, respiratory conditions, diabetes, kidney injury, and substance withdrawal
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; administer cardiac drips
Perform wound care, manage chest tubes, central lines, and blood product administration
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams including CNAs, charge nurses, phlebotomists, IV/VAT team, respiratory therapists, hospitalists, and intensivists
Document patient care using EPIC EMR; utilize Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell medication dispensing, and Phillips monitors
Float to other nursing units within the region as needed
Participate in departmental orientation and ongoing clinical training
