About the Role As the Lead Reconstruction Project Manager, you will be at the forefront of managing both residential and commercial reconstruction projects that arise from fire, water, mold, or storm damage. Each project presents unique challenges, and your expertise will be crucial in delivering results that meet our high standards of quality, timeliness, and budget adherence. You will collaborate closely with property owners, insurance carriers, adjusters, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project success. Responsibilities Oversee the complete project lifecycle for multiple reconstruction jobs, from initial work authorization through to final walkthrough. Coordinate and schedule all subcontractors, trades, vendors, and in-house craftsmen to ensure project flow. Review scopes, estimates, and Xactimate line items for accuracy and profitability. Maintain thorough job site documentation and ensure safety compliance, permitting, and inspections are conducted. Engage proactively with property owners, insurance representatives, and property managers for effective communication. Resolve scope changes, negotiate supplements/change orders, and manage margin control effectively. Assist branch leadership with project forecasting, reporting, and adherence to processes. Deliver an outstanding customer experience aimed at fostering repeat and referral business. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of project management experience in construction or restoration; reconstruction experience is highly preferred. Demonstrated ability to manage 10-30 projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to thrive amidst multiple projects. Proficiency in Xactimate or comparable construction management software. Solid understanding of building codes, permitting, inspections, and subcontractor management. Experience negotiating and working with insurance carriers, TPAs, and adjusters. Possession of a Contractor's License, IICRC certifications, and OSHA 10/30 certifications are strongly preferred. Outstanding communication and conflict-resolution skills to navigate challenges effectively.
