JOB SUMMARY: The EVS (Environmental Services) position involves maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across various facilities to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Job Details: Shift: 8:00am-6:00pm Location: Lithia Springs 30122 PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:
Performing routine cleaning tasks in patient rooms, surgical suites, public areas, administrative offices, and physician areas.? Conducting thorough cleaning procedures, especially in areas requiring infection control protocols.? Handling daily maintenance and major restoration of both hard and carpeted surfaces.? Undertaking specialized cleaning projects such as walls, entrances, windows, vents, and sidewalks.? Adhering to safety protocols, including the proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials. This role involves access to, cleaning, or transporting hazardous, pharmaceutical, chemotherapy chemical, soiled, or other regulated materials. Duties include cleaning public areas, patient rooms, surgical suites, ancillary spaces, administrative offices, and physician areas to maintain a clean, safe, and attractive environment for staff, patients, physicians, and visitors. This position is exposed to hazardous materials and various infectious diseases. JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 1 year of experience in a role in housekeeping/environmental services in the Healthcare, Hospitality, or Class A Commercial field.? In lieu of lead or coordinator experience, 2 years of experience in a staff-level housekeeping/environmental services role in the aforementioned fields will be considered.
