Showroom Designer

to join our Visual Impact team. In this role, you will create captivating store displays and interior layouts while adhering to our brand standards and strategies. Under the guidance of our Visual Leadership, you will leverage your creative skills to design and showcase merchandise that enriches the overall shopping experience for our guests. DAY IN THE LIFE AS THIS MEMORY MAKER Implement visual merchandising strategies to drive sales and meet financial objectives. Execute eye-catching store displays while coordinating furniture, lighting, and seasonal transitions. Regularly refresh displays, signage, and POS to optimize product sell-through. Facilitate floor moves and adjustments based on layout plans, maintaining open communication with Visual management regarding sold items. Analyze clearance and discontinued reports to repricing and effectively display clearance products. Unbox and tag merchandise, organize it within the showroom, and assist with bi-annual inventory tasks. Stay informed about product knowledge, promotions, and industry trends. Mentor staff on basic merchandising techniques and engage them in maintaining the visual integrity of the store. Coordinate with the store manager on visual needs, incoming products, and POS materials. Fulfill additional tasks as assigned by management. Enhance the guest experience by crafting engaging visual displays, incorporating furniture placement and creating color and lifestyle stories. WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED A minimum of 2 years of experience in visual merchandising, space planning, or retail furniture, or an associate's degree in a related field. As a multi-unit leader, reliable transportation is necessary for travel between locations and supporting other designers, as well as attending quarterly training and store openings. Proficiency in creating and maintaining consistent visual and merchandise presentations that align with company standards. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions from the Regional Visual Merchandiser with minimal supervision. Strong work ethic, positive professional presentation, excellent communication skills, and a solid customer service attitude. Willingness to perform additional tasks as assigned by management. WORKPLACE ENVIRONMENT Ability to lift and move furniture weighing 50 lbs or more and perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, lifting, climbing, and using a ladder. 50% of the time spent in the warehouse assisting with accessory assembly. 50% of the time spent on the showroom floor engaging in design activities (hanging wall art, merchandising, designing rooms, etc.).
