Experteer Italy is hiring: Automation Hardware Technical Support Europe in Germa

Overview

Beckman Coulter, a Danaher company, is seeking a Technical Support Specialist who will be remote-based in Italy or in Germany. Reporting to the Technical Support Manager, you will work in an international environment and provide second level support by resolving customer problems and issues through technical expertise and troubleshooting on Automation Platforms. You will drive service targets while ensuring strong customer satisfaction and retention. You will apply critical thinking to resolve actions to rapidly repair instrumentation, train our customers and our Service Engineers, and support our Applications Team. You will verify the operational performance and data quality of systems to support our overall commercial organization.

You will operate independently in the Italian/Germany territory and in Europe when needed (overnight travel required as needed) to provide excellent customer service to clients while installing and maintaining automation instrumentation and systems in hospital and stand-alone laboratory environments. We operate as a team to share standard methodologies, mentor, and receive experienced technical support.

Responsibilities

• Provide second level support by resolving customer problems and issues through technical expertise and troubleshooting on Automation Platforms.
• Drive service targets while ensuring strong customer satisfaction and retention.
• Apply critical thinking to resolve actions to rapidly repair instrumentation, train customers and Service Engineers, and support the Applications Team.
• Verify operational performance and data quality of systems to support the commercial organization.
• Operate independently in the Italian/Germany territory and in Europe when needed (overnight travel as required) to install and maintain Automation instrumentation and systems in hospital and stand-alone laboratory environments.
• Collaborate with the team to share standard methodologies, mentor colleagues, and receive experienced technical support.

Requirements

• Biomedical engineer or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of Technical Support, Field Service experience with Diagnostics market.
• Early careers are welcome but with troubleshooting experience gained during thesis or internships.
• Proficient English, both spoken and written, is mandatory.
• Ability to travel and provide service in the whole country as well as periodic travel to other European countries and overnight travel. A current valid driver’s license is required.

• Analytical mindset, able to analyze data, identify problems, and find effective solutions.
