TSuperintendent – Municipal Projects (Phoenix, AZ)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Superintendent to oversee and deliver municipal construction projects in the Phoenix area. This is a leadership role where you’ll be responsible for managing field operations, ensuring quality control, maintaining safety standards, and delivering projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities for municipal projects.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and field staff to maintain productivity and quality.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, city codes, and project specifications.
• Monitor schedules, budgets, and progress, providing timely reporting to project managers.
• Foster strong relationships with city officials, inspectors, and stakeholders.
• Lead by example in promoting safety, teamwork, and accountability.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Superintendent, ideally in municipal or public works projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and project management.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• OSHA certification and familiarity with local building codes preferred.
