My client is one of the largest Data Center developer/owners in the US looking to expand their construction team as they continue to grow. They have over 20+ years in the industry and 80+ sites across the US, focusing on hyperscale delivery.

This role will be playing a key role 500MW campus in Dallas, Texas.

Responsibilites:

  • Maintain liaison with various contractors and vendors to manage the day-to-day activities that impact the delivery of company’s critical facilities construction projects
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously in multiple markets
  • Manage multi-phased projects to achieve schedule, budget, and quality standards
  • Develop and manage RFP’s in coordination with Procurement Team
  • Provide appropriate communication with the project team to reduce constraints between Owner, Design Team, and Contractors
  • Ability to focus on evolving designs and changes that A.I. and future developments bring to market
  • Develop and manage RFP’s in coordination with Procurement Team
  • Manage the financial aspects of contracts (progress billing, equipment, income / expenses) to protect the company’s interest and simultaneously maintain good relationship with the client(s)
  • Work in conjunction with Commissioning Manger to ensure projects are started up and commissioned as per company capacity on-line requirements and standards
  • Coordinate and own full project monthly forecasting and budgeting in coordination with Project Controls

Qualifications:

  • Background in Critical Facilities Design, Architecture, Engineering and Construction Services
  • Experience managing Data Center Construction Projects as an Owner, Owner’s Representative, or as a General Contractor
  • Experience in large campus level developments; 100MW+
  • Minimum of 10-15+ years relevant experience in the Data Center Construction Industry
  • Must be familiar with the design process of building systems for data center and mission critical projects
  • Experience with design and constructing facility owned power sub-stations
