About the Role:

The Superintendent will lead and manage field operations and oversee all on-site work. The Superintendent is responsible for enforcing safety, quality standards, and inspections, maintaining site organization, ensuring adherence to company guidelines, coordinating with the project management team, and managing subcontractors, materials, and equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and model safety as a core principle
  • Coordinate with preconstruction and project management on contract deliverables, reporting, and quality testing requirements
  • Review project documents to anticipate RFIs and coordination needs
  • Communicate material delivery needs to ensure timely prioritization
  • Lead subcontractor schedule coordination meetings and resolve conflicts
  • Complete daily, progress, and compliance reporting
  • Assist with planning and updating the overall project schedule
  • Identify problems proactively and implement solutions to maintain workflow
  • Plan and establish work activity sequencing on the project
  • Manage inspections with consultants, local authorities, and other agencies
  • Ensure installed materials align with submittals and specifications
  • Oversee project closeout and owner turnover
  • Mentor and develop team members

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Construction Management, Building Science, or Civil Engineering preferred, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of ground-up multifamily project experience in a similar role
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred or willingness to obtain in the first year and maintain
  • Strong leadership and field management skills
  • Ability to lead teams, command attention, and drive results
  • Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficient with construction management software
