Qualified candidates for the adjunct professor position must be able to teach the course in person, both in lecture and lab (if required). The adjunct professor is responsible for delivering course materials to students to meet the course learning outcomes and shall assess student performance appropriately, as outlined in the course syllabus.
The adjunct professor shall have at least a master's degree in a related field, including an MBA, architecture, civil engineering, or construction management.
Qualified candidates must demonstrate the relevant experience and knowledge required for the course. The department chair will outline other job duties.
Required Qualifications Temporary appointment extended to an expert in a specific field to give instruction in connection with an established program. The appointments are: for one (1) academic term at a time and possess no continuing contractual relationship with the University. May teach undergrad courses with Master's degree in specified discipline. Can be used for temporary (OPS) faculty titles only. Statement(s) of Understanding This position requires a background check.
