Location: Onsite – Gallatin, TN Data Center (GTN)
No Travel, just the site.
Start Date: 11/10/25
1-2 round interview process
12 month contract plus possible extensions
Pay: $71-84/hr
Qualifications:
● Candidates need large project experience (greater than $500M) managing
general contractors and trade partners. Experienced construction manager
with 15+ years of service to supplement the construction management team
for the build-out of the Montgomery campus.
● Candidates must have experience managing general contractors and trade
partners on large projects (greater than $500M).
● Experience with network infrastructure and/or telecom systems is preferred.
● Professional-Level Engineering or other related discipline is preferred
● Commercial Construction (Oil, Gas, Chemical) Construction Manager Onsite w/ Field Experience
Nice to have:
1. Experience with network infrastructure and/or telecom systems is preferred.
2. Professional Level Degree
3. Autodesk Construction Cloud or similar software would be nice to have
4. PE License
About the role:
The Construction Manager (CM) provides site-level project management to ensure DEC
(Data Center) projects are executed safely, on schedule, and within budget. The CM is
the key point of contact for Cable and RDS Builds and Network projects, accountable
for all scope aspects including safety, quality, schedule, and budget. The role requires
high collaboration with cross-functional partners centrally, on-site contractors,
connectivity installers, and other key stakeholders. The CM leads efforts to plan and
execute new Meta Data Center capacity, ensuring work meets Meta standards for
quality and cost/schedule predictiveness.
Responsibilities include:
● Managing day-to-day activities with General Contractors and Telecom
Partners.
● Driving solutions to preserve business unit goals and KPIs.
● Acting as the point of contact for external partners (GC, Trade Partners,
Suppliers).
● Providing input into constructability and aiding in project schedule creation and
maintenance.
● Escalating key issues for coordination with Campus Construction Management
and Facilities Operations Project Management.
● The role demands strengths in project management, problem solving,
partnership, leadership, and behavioral skills.
● The CM role is pivotal in navigating complexities of large-scale data center
builds with significant capital expenditure (e.g., $1.67 billion project in Temple,
Texas).
● The CM is expected to work closely with tenured DEC Delivery team members
for onboarding and guidance on applying knowledge to Meta systems and
procedures.
