The Engineering Manager is a pivotal role within our manufacturing plant. This role will be responsible for leading the engineering team and driving operational excellence. This position will ensure successful execution and delivery of products and according to project timelines. and the ability support our vision of providing best in industry products to our partners and the end user customers. Develop and implement new and existing equipment acceptance plans Demonstrated use of capital project management skills to deliver safe, effective, low-cost capital solutions (Project planning, approval process, equipment specification, budget, Preventative Maintenance, acceptance plans, design review, safety assessments, capital request) when to apply them, interpretation of results and application for effective solutions (Process map, process capability, C&E matrix, fishbone diagram, FMEA, MSA, DOE, control plan) Drive improvement activity. Collaborate with delivery partners to determine appropriate projects of focus, using available data from observation, queries, process data, and working partner input Interface with Advanced Design, Product Engineering, and other business partners on the design for manufacturability, process capability, and production builds of new product or product revisions. Degree qualified in an engineering discipline, preferably mechanical engineering. ~ Knowledge of and the ability to use CAD systems. ~ Knowledge of SPC (eg Six Sigma) based techniques to drive continuous improvement projects. ~ Good communication and inter-personal skills. ~4-year degree in Engineering ~5+ years engineering experience. Willingness to travel Strong project management skills and working with a collaborative and cross functional team Strong knowledge of quality systems, SPC and process capability.
