Now Hiring: Director of Human Resources

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Director of Human Resources. In this position, you will be responsible for enforcing and administering company policies and ensuring company practices are compliant with all laws and regulations affecting human resources activities. What You’ll Do:

• Employee Relations & Compliance – Ensure fair and consistent HR practices, maintain compliance with labor laws and company policies, and foster a positive workplace culture.
• Strategic HR Leadership – Partner with resort leadership on workforce planning, organizational development, compensation/benefits strategy, and initiatives that support guest service excellence and business goals.
• Talent Management & Development – Oversee recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and training programs to attract, retain, and develop top talent across all resort departments.

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 3 years as an HR Director or 5 years as an HR Manager, preferably in a large resort, hotel, or convention setting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, ADP, HRIS systems, and capable of managing office tasks independently.
• Knowledge of Workers’ Compensation, unemployment claims, OSHA reporting, FMLA/LOE, and associate relations.
• Strong decision-making skills, ability to work under pressure, resolve workplace issues, and manage specialized programs like Exchange Visitor housing.
