Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) license required

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Minimum 1 year of recent clinical experience as an Emergency Room RN

Strong clinical skills in emergency care and trauma nursing

ER Nurse Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in the emergency department, assessing, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients with acute and critical conditions

Collaborate with physicians, healthcare professionals, and families to individualize patient care plans

Lead and supervise nursing support staff to ensure quality patient care according to hospital standards and policies

Stay current with best practices and protocols in emergency nursing and trauma care

Maintain accurate documentation and clear communication within the healthcare team
