The role requires a reasonable combination of the following knowledge and skills: program development, and management; public relations; budget development and management; strong clinical skills; critical thinking skills; and supervisory skills. Ability to serve as an appropriate role model to supervisees. Compassion towards people living with substance abuse disorders, mental illness, and other health issues and the ability to convey respect to the target populations is critical.Must learn and apply agency, personnel and program policies and procedures.Must have knowledge and understanding of the current SUD treatment modalities.Preference given to those that have the ability to train and supervise other clinical staff and interns.Must be willing to be on-call and work some evenings if applicable WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE: A minimum Master’s Degree with CSW/MFT/LPCA, LCSW/LMFT/LPCC/LCAC preferred.Two years of supervisory experience. RESPONSIBILITES: Provides strong visible leadership to all staff within the Family Recovery Court Program as well as in interactions with internal and external partners and stakeholders. In partnership with the Senior Program Manager of Family Recovery Court, secure and ensure compliance with State Licensing Regulations (908 KAR).License, including, but not limited to, ensuring that all program staff have required training. Maintains Family Recovery Program, programs policy and procedures manual and ensures staff compliance. Ultimately responsible for all treatment services (including drug testing, clinical referrals, individual/group counseling sessions, family sessions, education series and aftercare referrals). Provide weekly supervision to Clinical Coordinators and other Family Recovery Court staff as needed. Timely addresses staff behavioral and/or performance concerns and works collaboratively with staff members to develop plans for improvement. Ensures the maintenance of the interior and exterior of the buildings and complies with fire safety and health standards. Represents VOA in appropriate local committees. Provides crisis intervention and assists in emergency consultation as needed. Ensures prompt submission of monthly and quarterly reports. Performance Quality Improvement (PQI) duties as assigned by supervision & PQI Department Serves as a liaison with community partners. In collaboration with Senior Program Manager of Family Recovery Court, implements annual strategic plans for all programs and assures that such programs are aligned with the overall agency strategic plan. Represents programs and agency on appropriate local, state and or national committees.
