Project Access offers a variety of activities to enrich the lives of children, families and seniors living in affordable housing. If you have just ONE DAY or ONE HOUR A WEEK to share you can help provide READING CLUBS, ARTS & CRAFTS, CHARACTER EDUCATION & many more activities that help children develop self-confidence and a love of learning! We are seeking a

reliable and committed volunteer

to assist with our weekly food pantry program. Your support will help ensure

low-income seniors

have access to essential groceries each week. In need of volunteers who are available: Every Thursday | 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM Duties include: Picking up food in your personal vehicle from: Pavilions – 515 W Washington St, San Diego, CA 92103 Delivering food to one of our community Resource Centers Packing & sorting food into bags/boxes into your vehicle Sorting food by category (e.g., fruits, bread, dairy, ready-to-eat meals, etc.) Walking back and forth to load/unload food Ensuring no food is left behind (a second trip is okay if completed by 12:00 PM) Unloading food into the Center with help from the Resident Services Coordinator Option to support distribution or other programs if more volunteer hours are desired Food is delivered to

either

of the following Resource Centers every Thursday: COMM22
