Labor & Delivery RN Job Details Weekly Estimated Pay:

$2100–$2250 per week

13 weeks (Start: 9/30/2025 – End: 12/30/2025)

Shift:

Night Shift, 3x12-hour shifts/week (19:00 – 07:30)

Charting System:

EPIC

Registered Nurse Qualifications Active NJ or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license (required at submission)

Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience

Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records

Ability to float to other units within skillset

Every third weekend required; must work 2 of 3 winter holidays

First-time travel nurses must have current labor experience

Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring patients, including triage, antepartum, delivery, and postpartum recovery

Assist with high-risk deliveries, C-section recovery, and perform sterile vaginal exams

Support breastfeeding, lactation, couplet care, and newborn identification

Operate external and internal fetal monitoring equipment (IUPC, Novii)

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (Respiratory, Radiology, Pharmacy, Social Services)

Follow infection control protocols and isolation precautions

Float to other clinical units as needed
