We are seeking a dedicated Light Industrial Warehouse Associate to join our team. This full-time position involves a variety of tasks including picking, receiving, and organizing materials both indoors and occasionally outdoors. There is a potential for the candidate to go full time with great attendance/performance.
Key Responsibilities: Material Handling: Picking, receiving, and putting away materials. Forklift Operation: Operating sit-down forklifts for various tasks. Inventory Management: Conducting cycle counts and organizing pipe and yard materials. Customer Interaction: Assisting with will-call orders and interacting with customers to load materials into their vehicles. Minor Computer Use: Occasionally handling minor computer tasks related to order processing.
Requirements: Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred. Forklift Skills: Proficiency in operating sit-down forklifts. Customer Service: Ability to interact with customers in a professional manner. Physical Stamina: Capability to perform tasks that may require lifting and moving materials.
Flexibility: Willingness to work both indoors and outdoors as needed.
Additional Information:
Work Environment: Primarily indoor work with some outdoor tasks. Height Work: Minimal requirement for working at heights, mostly handled by the supervisor. Job duties may or may not be aligned with the following positions- Floater Pipe Yard Inside Associate, Pipe Yard Outside Associate, Receiving Associate, Receiving Clerk, or Returns Associate
