intelligent power management company
in Irvine, CA as a
Quality Inspector . In this role, you will be responsible for performing
visual and dimensional inspections
on aerospace parts, sub-assemblies, and components to ensure they meet specifications. You will report to the Quality Supervisor and contribute to the company's goal of delivering high-quality, sustainable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct
in-process, receiving, and outbound inspections
of aerospace components. Use inspection tools including
calipers, micrometers, gages, surface plates , and optical comparators. Review and approve documentation such as
AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports . Produce inspection reports and process data transactions. Interpret geometric tolerancing per
ASME Y14.5 . Adhere to
DFAR, Nadcap , and FAA compliance standards. Understand customer-specific portals and documentation systems. Follow safety and quality protocols rigorously. Required Experience
Minimum
five years' experience
in mechanical inspection of aerospace components. Must reside within
50 miles of Irvine, CA (zip code 90039) . U.S. persons only, per
ITAR regulations
(citizen, permanent resident, asylee, or refugee). Nice-to-Have Experience
Familiarity with
FAA environments . Knowledge of
customer-specific DQCR/DSQR programs . Understanding of
various material types
like aluminum, titanium, and stainless steel. Required Skills
Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (ASME Y14.5) First Article Inspection (AS9102) Measurement tools: micrometers, calipers, gages Strong written and verbal communication Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, ERP systems) Preferred Skills
Experience with
plated/coated aerospace materials ASQ certification or college coursework Data processing and documentation systems knowledge Additional Skills
Strong teamwork and professionalism Reasoning and mathematical skills Dependability and attention to detail Understanding of
