Performs a variety of general cleaning tasks to achieve a high standard of cleanliness. Also assists and is an integral part of the facilities infection control program. Interacts directly with patients, staff and visitors on a daily basis.
Status:
Casual, as needed
What you will need:
High school diploma or equivalent.
On the job training experience preferred.
Healthcare housekeeping experience preferred.
What you will do:
Perform cleaning functions in assigned areas using the seven step cleaning procedure.
Disinfect and make beds upon discharge and transfer
Perform cleaning projects such as walls, windows, furniture and fixtures.
Maintains environmental services equipment.
