24 hours Unit Overview: This is a
Cardiac Telemetry/Progressive Care Unit
with a strong focus on cardiac patients: Acute coronary syndrome, stable STEMI, NSTEMI Pre & post-cardiac cath (with & without intervention) Post-MI, arrhythmias, syncope New onset & chronic A-fib (including Tikosyn load) Pre & post-EP lab for pacemaker/ICD placement Secondary population: heart failure & stepdown overflow Daily Census:

Required Experience & Skills: Minimum:
2 years acute RN experience Cardiac Telemetry & PCU experience required Use of rapid response teams Post-MI, pre/post cardiac cath, TR bands, central lines, PICC lines, CVP monitoring Epic EMR required Certifications: BLS ACLS Compliance Notes: Pass/Fail EKG Exam: All RNs must pass during compliance (2 attempts allowed). COVID-19 Vaccine: Required (medical/religious exemptions only). Flu Vaccine: Required (medical/religious exemptions only). Locals: Not accepted (must live 50+ miles away).
