13-week contract (Start: 11/24/2025 – End: 2/21/2026)
Shift:
12-hour days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
Hours per Week:
Guaranteed 48 hours (overtime after 48 hours)
Estimated Weekly Salary Range:
$1990-$2130
Weekend/Holiday:
Every other weekend and holiday rotation
Charting System:
EPIC (required)
Scrub Colors:
Any color
Registered Nurse Qualifications
Active Wisconsin RN License (required for Wisconsin nursing jobs)
BLS Certification
Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg nursing experience (Trauma Level II experience highly preferred)
Associate Degree or Certificate in Nursing; BSN preferred
Proficiency with EPIC charting system
Ability to float to all inpatient units as needed
Med/Surg RN Responsibilities
Provide high-quality clinical care to adult patients with diverse medical conditions: respiratory illnesses, stroke, neurological disorders, gastrointestinal illness, diabetic management, renal failure, sepsis, wound care, clotting disorders, infectious diseases, and acute alcohol withdrawal
Maintain patient ratios of 1:4-5 during days and 1:6-7 during nights
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes
Demonstrate resilience, adaptability, and a positive attitude in a fast-paced hospital environment
Independently manage tasks and prioritize patient care throughout the nursing shift
Float to other inpatient units as needed
