Contract Duration:
13-week travel nursing assignment (Start: 9/15/2025 – End: 12/13/2025)
Shift:
12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Guaranteed Hours:
36 hours per week
Weekend & Holiday Rotation:
Every other weekend and holiday

$2310 - $2470 per week
Labor & Delivery RN Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience (first-time travelers: 3+ years L&D experience preferred)
Active Registered Nurse license (RN license)
BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications required
Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification
STABLE certification (must be completed within 30 days of start)
Proficient in all phases of LDRP care: Antepartum, Intrapartum, Postpartum, and newborn care
Experience with shoulder dystocia, epidural management, nitrous oxide administration, intrathecal spinal analgesia
Ability to provide neonatal care during C-sections (no circulating required)
Comfortable caring for low acuity Med/Surg overflow patients
Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns in an LDRP setting
Manage antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum/couplet care
Care for well babies, including vital signs, thermoregulation, hypoglycemia, bilirubin monitoring, and NAS babies
Respond to postpartum hemorrhage, pre-eclampsia, HELLP syndrome, and other OB emergencies
Support low acuity Med/Surg overflow patients (IV antibiotics, swing bed, rehab)
Collaborate with midwives, OB/GYNs, charge nurses, and other hospital staff
Float to Med/Surg or ED for tasks (no patient assignment)
Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR
