Seeking experienced

ICU RNs

for an 8-week assignment at MVHS in Utica, NY. This position involves caring for critically ill patients across multiple ICU units including Neuro, Med/Surg, CTICU, and Trauma ICU. Floating may be required to other units as needed. Key Responsibilities

Provide advanced nursing care for critically ill patients, including assessment, intervention, and monitoring. Manage patients requiring

CRRT/Prismaflex

and advanced cardiac support (IABP, TTM). Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver evidence-based care. Utilize specialty equipment including Ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, and Artic Sun. Perform documentation using

Epic EMR

and maintain compliance with hospital policies. Float within scope as required to support unit needs (excluding Behavioral Health and ER unless assigned). Requirements

Active New York RN license

(or Compact if applicable) Minimum 2 years of ICU experience

, including SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, MS ICU, or Neuro ICU Charge RN experience preferred Current AHA certifications:

BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Epic EMR experience required Unit Details

Total Beds:

42 (East 20, West 22)

Neuro/Med: 22 beds CTICU: 6 beds Surgical/Trauma ICU: 14 beds

Common Diagnoses:

Stroke, Sepsis, AMS, Neuro Intervention (TCAR), Respiratory Failure, CHF, Post-STEMI, CV surgery, AAA, Trauma, Major post-op patients Specialty Equipment:

CRRT (Prismaflex/NxStage), IABP, Ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, TTM (Artic Sun) Floating:
