Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Massachusetts RN license (required for Massachusetts nursing jobs)

BLS and NRP certifications

Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience

Experience with Epic EMR and postpartum care

Ability to complete all onboarding health and background requirements

Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive patient care throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum stages

Monitor maternal and fetal health, respond to complications promptly

Administer prescribed medications and treatments

Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes

Accurately document patient care using Epic EMR

Educate patients and families on postpartum care and newborn health

Maintain a safe, supportive, and compassionate clinical environment
