Night Shift, 4x10-Hour (19:00 – 05:30) Job Responsibilities and All Required and Preferred Skills and Requirements: Required Experience & Qualifications: Minimum 3 years ICU experience Patient ratio experience: 1:2 Certifications: ACLS, BLS Charting experience: Epic (Preferred) Must be willing to float between like units or nearby affiliated hospitals Must be willing to work 2 of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year Valid CA RN license required First-time travelers accepted Must provide minimum of 2 supervisory references from the last 3 years Required Clinical Skills: IV therapy Arterial line management Blood product administration Central line care/management PICC line management Starting/maintaining IVs Chest tube assistance (preferred) BiPAP/CPAP management Ventilator care High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) ABG interpretation ETT/NT suctioning Chronic/acute renal failure management Continuous IV sedation Procedural sedation Titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips CVA/acute stroke care Spinal cord and traumatic brain injury care GI surgery experience Dysrhythmia interpretation and management Multisystem organ dysfunction/failure management IV insulin protocol management Isolation precautions/PPE Phlebotomy Surgical wound and wound vac care Cardiac monitoring Preferred/Additional Skills (not required but beneficial): Open Heart Recovery EVD/ICP monitoring Post-neurosurgery care Impella, IABP experience Post cardiac surgery care PA Line/Swan Ganz monitoring Sheath removal Neuro ICU or Surgical ICU experience
