Neurosurgery- Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant- Piedmont Atlanta Employment Type: Full-Time/ Variable Shift 1:00PM-9:00PM Piedmont Healthcare is seeking an experienced and motivated Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our high-volume Neurosurgery team at the Piedmont Atlanta campus. This role supports surgeons with a focus on complex spine and spinal deformity cases, offering a dynamic, collaborative environment alongside nationally recognized experts. The ideal candidate will bring prior neurosurgical experience, a strong commitment to patient-centered care, and a passion for ongoing learning in a fast-paced, high-acuity specialty. ________________________________________ Serve as first assist in the OR, supporting complex spine surgical procedures. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including histories and physicals, and document findings in EPIC (EHR). Evaluate and treat patients in the ambulatory setting to ensure continuity and quality of care. Develop and implement individualized care plans, proactively managing complications and employing preventative strategies. Participate in first-call rotation with other APPs within the neurosurgery practice.
