Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accounting Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Knoxville, TN. This role is ideal for someone with strong financial acumen, excellent Excel skills, and a passion for problem-solving. You’ll play a key role in supporting financial reporting, reconciliations, and data analysis to help drive informed business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyze financial reports, statements, and forecasts
Perform account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data
Support month-end and year-end close processes
Assist with budgeting and variance analysis
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and interpret financial data
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency
Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2+ years of experience in accounting or financial analysis
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) preferred
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Additional Information:
Work Arrangement: On-site in Knoxville, TN
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience
Eligibility: Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Pay Details: $30.00 to $32.00 per hour
