Join our dynamic team as a Business Development & Product Manager in the Wire & Cable Manufacturing industry - a remote, full-time position that promises exciting challenges and growth opportunities. We are searching for a highly motivated, self-starter who can leverage their expertise in sales, product management, account management, and supply chain to drive our business forward. If you are passionate about fiber optics, medium or high voltage cables, and construction, and have a knack for identifying and developing new business opportunities, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
As a Business Development & Product Manager, your role will involve:
1. Driving new business development by identifying, evaluating, and pursuing potential business opportunities in the wire and cable manufacturing industry.
2. Managing and growing existing customer accounts while ensuring optimal customer satisfaction and retention.
3. Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to increase product sales and market share.
4. Acting as a product expert and subject matter expert on all aspects of our wire and cable products, including raw material, fiber optics, medium or high voltage cables, and construction.
5. Collaborating with the supply chain team to ensure efficient and timely delivery of products.
6. Overseeing customer pricing strategies and negotiations to ensure profitability while maintaining competitive pricing.
7. Collaborating with the engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure product quality and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
8. Providing technical support and training to the sales team to enhance their product knowledge and sales skills.
9. Analyzing market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform product development and marketing strategies.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Business Development & Product Manager role should possess:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in the wire and cable manufacturing industry.
3. Proven track record in sales, account management, and new business development.
4. In-depth knowledge of wire and cable products, including raw material, fiber optics, medium or high voltage cables, and construction.
5. Strong understanding of supply chain processes.
6. Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
7. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
8. Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
9. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a remote setting.
10. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically and analytically.
