Overview

Join to apply for the (Amazon DSP) - Delivery Associate role at Northstar Logistics. We partner with Amazon as a Delivery Service Partner to provide delivery services to customers. Team Members use Amazon branded cargo vans with the latest technology and safety features to deliver packages to homes, retail locations, and other delivery points. You will help ensure customer orders are delivered on time and to the right place, contributing to a commitment to exceed customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Successfully handle and deliver packages per Amazon rules and regulations.
• Safely drive and perform daily safety inspections on company vehicles.
• Follow all local and state laws, road regulations, and company policies.
• Provide excellent customer service, even in stressful conditions.
• Work in a physically demanding job, in all weather conditions and on various routes; lift packages up to 50 lbs; deliver 200-300 packages per day; repeatedly enter and exit a van at multiple locations.
• Communicate effectively with the support team to ensure deliveries are completed.
• Use smartphone devices for GPS navigation, scanning packages, clocking in/out, and communicating with supervisors and team members.
• Load and unload packages in the delivery vehicle.
• Support daily work requirements, including participation in rescue calls when colleagues need route assistance.
• If needed, perform delivery station activities such as sorting and general tasks.

Qualifications

• Military veterans are welcome.
• Commercial, DOT, CDL (or related driving) experience is a plus but not mandatory.
• Ability to work as part of a team and grow with the company; supervisory roles may become available as the company grows.
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work across multiple routes in various weather conditions.

Compensation & Benefits

• $22.25 per hour with overtime at $33.37 per hour (paid weekly).
• Typically 10-hour shifts, four days a week; schedules may vary based on performance and route volume.
• Two paid 15-minute breaks and one 30-minute meal break per shift (unpaid).
