Overview

Dentologie is seeking a full-time Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) with a minimum of 6 months General Practice DA experience for our South Lake Union location (124 Westlake Ave N, Seattle, WA 98109).

Salary: $25 - $32/hr based on experience and skill set. Benefits include a full benefits package, full-time hours with a balanced schedule, and a collaborative, upbeat culture.

Schedule

  • Monday: 12:30pm-7:30pm
  • Tuesday: 7:30am-2:30pm
  • Wednesday: 12:30pm-7:30pm
  • Thursday: 7:30am-2:30pm
  • Friday: 7:30am-3:30pm

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of patient care, office and laboratory duties
  • Assist dentist chairside during examination and treatment of patients across operative procedures
  • Provide a high-quality patient experience
  • Contribute positively to an engaging company culture
  • Prepare instruments and materials for upcoming procedures
  • Provide direct patient care across dental services, including restorative, orthodontics, pediatric, endodontic, periodontics, prosthodontics and oral surgery
  • Pass dental instruments between provider and assistant (4-handed dentistry)
  • Make patients comfortable during treatment preparation
  • Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment and operatories post-treatment
  • Obtain dental radiographs and intra-oral scans/photos
  • Keep treatment records updated with charting and planned treatments
  • Monitor daily supplies and assist with restocking
  • Provide post-treatment oral care instructions
  • Follow infection control protocol

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Minimum six months DA experience; active WA state dental assistant registration number
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal, customer service and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Clinical knowledge and patient care capability
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced environment
  • Preferred: coronal polishing certificate
