Overview

Golden Dog Title is seeking a Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers in our Dallas, TX office. This position provides general office support with a variety of clerical activities and receptionist-related tasks.

Essential duties and responsibilities

  • Answer telephones and direct callers to the appropriate associate.
  • Greet and direct visitors to the company.
  • Take and retrieve messages for various personnel.
  • Receive, sort and distribute incoming mail.
  • Coordinate the pickup and delivery of express mail services (FedEx, UPS, etc.).
  • Open builder contracts in real estate closing software.
  • Monitor general office e-mail and forward to the appropriate individual.
  • Assist with other related clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning and filing.
  • Maintain the closing calendar board and keep it updated.
  • Send title documents out to lenders/realtors.
  • Log in key packages and distribute to appropriate files.
  • Greet all incoming guests and obtain copies of driver’s licenses or passports as needed.
  • Clean and maintain the cleanliness of all conference rooms and office space.

Experience, skills, knowledge

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Bilingual candidate would be a plus
  • Professional appearance and demeanor

Physical demands
