Overview
Bilingual Dental Receptionist with American Pediatric Dental Group - Pembroke Pines, FL is the first point of contact for our patients and their families. They must provide friendly, efficient, and effective service to ensure a positive patient experience. The Dental Receptionist will field in-bound phone calls to schedule patient appointments, answer questions, understand insurance benefits, and provide details about pediatric and orthodontic services. This position must ensure that the patient and parent or guardian are the number one priority. This support is crucial to the delivery of the Company’s mission of helping children achieve a lifetime of great oral health.
Schedule
- Monday and Thursday 9:15 to 6:30
- Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 8:15 to 5:00
Base pay range
$17.50/hr - $18.00/hr
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for patients and families, providing friendly, efficient, and informative service.
- Field inbound phone calls to schedule patient appointments, answer questions, and explain insurance benefits.
- Provide details about pediatric and orthodontic services and support a positive patient experience.
- Prioritize the needs of the patient and parent/guardian in all interactions.
Education And Experience
- Minimum high school diploma, or equivalent.
- Experience in a professional, medical, or dental environment with direct customer service is desirable.
Specific Skills
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills; ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships.
- Ability to travel between multiple locations.
- Customer service oriented with a pleasant demeanor at all times.
- Effective written and verbal communication with staff and management.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to multitask and perform duties promptly.
- Strong PC skills and ability to learn and use new programs as required.

Education/Credentials
- A minimum of a high school degree or equivalent is required.
