Overview
The Administrative Assistant reports to the Health Services Administrator (HSA) and performs various clerical duties and assigned tasks, including delegation of work to health services clerks and the referral coordinator. Additionally, ensures compliance with procedures and programs, while assisting in the submission of reports and monitoring their effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with the HSA on safety inspections, compliance, and monitoring of procedures and programs.
- Manage office supplies, filing systems, and credential files, ensuring proper updates and modifications.
- Facilitate site payroll, training of clerical new hires, and provide administrative assistance as needed.
- Prepare and submit reports in a timely manner and assist with daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Fulfill additional duties as required, including obtaining and maintaining security clearance and posting orders per site contract.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Additional college level courses preferred.
Experience
- One (1) year of clerical experience as a secretary or administrative assistant.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
