Store Delivery Driver Job at NAPA Auto Parts in Town of Florida

Delivery Driver opportunity that delivers on being a NAPA brand ambassador. This role takes you outside on the open road, serving customers, and is suitable for individuals looking to spend a career as a Driver, to explore other careers at NAPA, or to earn extra income.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Delivering parts to our customers with a passion for developing relationships
• Picks up parts from vendors, ensures stock room parts are accurately stocked and maintains/checks inventory
• Consistently focused on safety while driving and delivering parts
• Serving as a NAPA Brand Ambassador as you meet customers during deliveries
• Building long-term relationships with the customers you deliver to
• Maintain store delivery truck through adherence to safety checklists, ensure vehicle is clean, and perform basic maintenance (e.g., correct tire pressure)
• Other duties as needed

What You’ll Need

• Agility to bend to floor-level shelves and reach upper shelves (eight feet) with stool or ladder when necessary; stamina to stand and walk for an entire shift; ability to lift up to 60 lbs
• Able to handle cash charge transactions correctly and process core/part returns
• Maintaining a distribution log or tracking system to record all deliveries/pickups
• Inspecting, protecting and maintaining company assets, merchandise, vehicles, building and people
• Clear speaking and attentive listening skills
• Driving throughout the metropolitan area using maps and directions
• Able to be flexible with your schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Valid Driver’s License
