As a Dental Hygienist at New Mark Dental Care, you’ll be an integral member of the patient care team, delivering the time and care patients need while benefiting from robust hygiene mentorship and ongoing educational opportunities to enhance your clinical skills.

New Mark Dental Care is unique to the community and the patients they serve. With support from a practice manager, a highly trained on-site team, and a vast network of Heartland Dental experts, you’ll be connected to resources and support.

  • Join a 7-person team that thrives on collaboration, communication and community
  • Monday 8am-5pm, Tuesday 7am-3pm, Wednesday 8am-5pm, Thursday 7am-3pm, Friday 7am-12pm

Minimum Qualifications

  • Current dental hygienist license in MO and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
  • CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

  • Experienced Hygienists and New Graduates
  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
  • Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
  • Clinical needs as required by office

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position
  • Prolonged periods sitting and standing
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
  • Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
  • TB testing is required for all new hires in dental office positions and will be arranged during pre-employment; not applicable in FL & TN
