Overview

Position delivers products to stores on an established route or via dynamic dispatch to customers including convenience and gas stores, small supermarkets, drug stores, etc. (average of 15-20 stops per day). Drives the delivery vehicle to a location, unloads and brings products into the store. Is responsible for ongoing rotating and stocking of products on store shelves, displays, vending equipment, and in coolers. Builds displays and sets up promotional materials such as pricing signs and banners. Generates invoices and is responsible for daily settlement of cash and charges. Has frequent interaction with store management.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to stores on an established route or via dynamic dispatch to customers including convenience and gas stores, small supermarkets, drug stores, etc. (average of 15-20 stops per day)
• Drive the delivery vehicle to a location, unload and bring products into the store
• Rotate and stock products on store shelves, displays, vending equipment, and in coolers
• Build displays and set up promotional materials such as pricing signs and banners
• Generate invoices and handle daily settlement of cash and charges
• Interact with store management
• Labor intensive: lifting, loading and pushing/pulling a high volume of cases per day (20-45 pounds per case)
• Reach, squat, and bend while delivering and merchandising; work in varying weather; long hours in peak seasons
• Deliver products, serve customers, and execute promotions to multiple stores each day
• Operate trucks requiring an appropriate CDL license
• Service all scheduled customers by end of daily shift
• Merchandise and rotate accounts to local standards
• Push/pull pallet jacks and hand trucks
• Establish positive working relationships with primary contacts at each account
• Comply with operating procedures (scan-in/scan-out, route compliance)
• Serve customers with communication and attentiveness to needs
• Follow DOT regulations
