We’re hiring immediately for a full-time Verizon Retail Sales Associate. This isn’t a typical entry-level retail position. You can earn base pay and commissions, with potential to grow your career at Verizon.

Where you’ll be working: on-site at a defined location(s).

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Generate retail sales by using your passion for cutting-edge technology and exceptional customer service to expand the Verizon network.
  • Learn and uncover customers’ needs by creating connections and asking the right questions.
  • Position product insights and solution recommendations to provide customers with a complete top-down sales solution.
  • Close sales by using clear communication to fulfill customer needs with simple and intuitive tech solutions.
  • Continuously develop yourself through ongoing training and up-skill in operational functions across merchandising and inventory.
  • Potential to grow your customer base by placing outbound calls and sending text messages to current Verizon customers interested in our products and services.
  • Engage with the community outside of the store to expand your loyal customer base, including at off-site Verizon sponsored events.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation varies by geography, hours worked, and performance. Base pay listed as starting at $19.71 per hour with commission potential. You may earn up to $16,000 a year in individual-based commissions if you hit all sales goals, with top performers potentially earning $65,000+ to $73,500+ annually. This is a commission-based position with the potential to earn more.

What We’re Looking For

You’ll Need To Have

  • High school diploma or GED
  • One or more years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work experience and/or military
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (schedule available four weeks in advance)
  • Openness to pick up additional shifts, especially during peak seasons

Even better if you have:

  • Experience in a commission-based environment
  • Demonstrated sales experience and customer solution orientation
  • Customer service experience
