Position Summary

This position will be PART-TIME Sat and Sun 5PM-6AM (weekends night shift)

A Security Guard contributes to AHF by protecting the company’s assets and ensuring the safety of staff, tenants, contractors, guests and visitors at AHF sites, including Healthy Housing (HHF) properties. You will leverage security training to implement strategies that protect our personnel and assets (including inventory of donations) at Healthy Housing tenant facilities located in downtown Los Angeles and other AHF locations. You will coordinate and oversee the in-house Security Guards Team and implement policies and procedures to support our mission.

Responsibilities

• Protect company assets and ensure safety of staff, tenants, contractors, guests and visitors at AHF sites and Healthy Housing properties.
• Coordinate and oversee the in-house Security Guards team.
• Implement policies and procedures to achieve security objectives.
• Collaborate with Healthy Housing operational staff to maintain a safe environment.
• Utilize the Safety and Security Incident Reporting System to submit detailed reports on events and incidents.
• Adapt to various situations and provide consistent value to AHF/HHF while remaining flexible.

Qualifications

• Security training applicable to the role (and ability to leverage it on the job).
• Ability to work a weekend night shift (Saturday and Sunday, 5PM-6AM).
• Strong commitment to AHF Core Values and mission.
