Job Title: Human Resources Administrator

This is an on-site position located in Las Vegas, NV. Full-time.

Summary

Steelman Partners is looking to hire a Human Resources Administrator who wants to grow and develop their HR career, is enthusiastic, full of energy, optimistic, and a team player. This role requires excellent organizational and time management skills and outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • The primary function is to work with the company's Executive Leadership to execute and own day-to-day Human Resources administrative functions: onboarding, offboarding, compliance administration, maintenance of HR system of record and filing, data analysis, and general HR-related administrative tasks.
  • Support, promote, and demonstrate superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards; ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations; report issues to management.
  • Assist with recruiting and scheduling.
  • Maintain applicant candidate tracker.
  • Provide benefits administration support including assisting employees with enrollment in benefits.
  • Prepare orientation new-hire packages and conduct new hire orientation presentations; ensure documents are properly completed.
  • Onboard new hires to ensure a consistent and thorough onboarding experience.
  • Maintain records and uphold the privacy and confidentiality of employee files.
  • Maintain knowledge of HR policy and interpretation.
  • Monitor key people metrics related to hiring, turnover, retention, engagement, and performance; support HR initiatives for retention and culture.
  • Facilitate tracking for employee recognition programs and coordinate related events.
  • Assist management with handling and resolving HR issues.
  • Maintain HR spreadsheets and databases; collaborate with various departments and all levels of employees.
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to the administration team; backup support for Office Coordinator/Receptionist/Payroll.

  • Proven ability to achieve high-performance goals in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic understanding of HR practices, including employment law and regulations at Federal, State, and Local levels.
  • Ability to understand the organization’s hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, and compensation practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience with HRIS systems; Paylocity is preferred.

Education and Experience

  • Interest in a career in Human Resources.
  • At least 1 year of HR experience is required.
