The Impact You Will Make We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to support our St. Louis Manufacturing Facility. The Human Resources Manager will work in close partnership with the Human Resources Function and St. Louis Site Leadership Team to ensure programs and processes delivered are aligned with business strategies and HR priorities. The HR Manager will advise and coach leaders on HR related matters associated with staffing, talent/performance management, employee and labor relations, organizational design, benefits/compensation programs, and diversity/equity/inclusion programs. Through a combination of HR expertise and understanding of company objectives, the HR Manager will effectively resolve complex HR opportunities within a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. The HR Manager must be passionate about achieving organizational goals through collaboration with site leadership and the union through the execution of strategies. The HR Manager will mitigate site/company risks by ensuring that all practices are compliant with government regulations. The HR Manager will support the broader HR strategy with a focus on customer service and assure alignment with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., vendors, legal, HR, Payroll, Tax, Finance). The HR Manager will perform essential functions while demonstrating behaviors aligned with Kindeva’s PRECISE Values (Personal Accountability, Respect, Excellence, Communication, Innovation, Service, & Energy).
Role Responsibilities
- Partner with site management to drive a people excellence strategy platform – focusing on talent, culture, and engagement.
- Administer policies and procedures, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance for the manufacturing sites.
- Engage in labor relations through resolving employee grievances, ensuring adherence to the CBA, and maintaining open communication and collaboration with union representatives.
- Lead critical site engagements across performance management processes and other HR COE driven programs.
- Responsible for expanding current HR strategic programs such as talent management, annual employee engagement surveys, and rewards & recognition programs.
- Encourage a workplace culture that values teamwork and fosters collaboration, acknowledge and reward staff contributions, and develop strategies to drive employee engagement and positive morale.
- Motivate team performance and professional development, develop skilled managers and mentors, participate in onboarding and offboarding colleagues.
- Respond to and investigate employee complaints and conflicts, working closely with all parties involved.
- Lead and support cross-functional work streams to drive positive outcomes on things such as organizational design, continuous improvement, and other strategic initiatives
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Business Management/ Human Resources or related field.
- 5+ years as an HR business partner with experience engaging with site and corporate leadership teams.
- Proven record of success in developing and maintaining effective working relationships and partnerships with diverse stakeholders and leading change and HR strategy.
- Solid knowledge of best practices, laws and regulations in all HR functions, including employment/labor relations, recruitment, onboarding, benefits, compensation, performance management, learning and development, human resource information systems, and project management.
- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrated business knowledge and acumen, with a strong desire to further understand the business and keep learning.
- High integrity including maintenance of confidential information.
Preferred Qualifications
- HR management in a manufacturing environment.
- Labor relations experience.
